MEET THE DOCTOR

Dr. Crystal Broussard, MD, (NPI:1588688576)

a prescribing provider.

Dr. Crystal Broussard is a native Texan. She received her undergraduate degree from Lamar University and her medical degree from The University of Texas – Houston.  Dr. Broussard completed a family medicine residency in Conroe and began practicing family medicine in The Woodlands in 2005.

She became interested in medical weight management because of her personal and family history of obesity. She has lost 100 pounds herself after the birth of her first child, and found her professional calling in helping her patients take control of their health through a safe, physician-supervised weight loss program emphasizing long term lifestyle changes.

She is board-certified in Family Medicine and is an active member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, where she serves on task forces to teach other medical professionals how to treat obesity.

Dr. Broussard volunteers her time to teach residents how to treat obesity. She was recently featured as a medical expert in bariatrics for a new nutrition and exercise program called The Pink Method. Dr. Broussard had the privilege of co-hosting the PINK Method Infomercial, which has begun airing nationally. This is a new fitness and nutrition program designed for women that has been featured on Dr. Phil and The Doctors.

We are so excited and honored to be able to work with someone of this skill and with this passion to support our clients in their weight loss and longevity journeys.

Please note: Dr. Broussard is an independent physician who provides medical services through the provider portal and network through Asher Med. She is not employed by, and does not serve as the medical director for Unlimited Performance. Medical decisions are made solely by the prescribing provider. Prescribing providers may vary depending on your location.

Peptide Therapy

Peptide therapy is an advanced wellness treatment that uses naturally occurring short chains of amino acids, known as peptides, to help the body perform specific functions more effectively. Peptides act as messengers within the body, signaling cells to carry out targeted tasks such as healing tissues, boosting metabolism, improving skin health, enhancing cognitive function, and regulating hormones. Over time, the body’s natural production of peptides can decrease, leading to issues like fatigue, weight gain, poor recovery, and signs of aging.  Peptide therapy works by supplementing these vital compounds, helping to restore balance and optimize various biological processes. It has become a popular option for individuals seeking weight management, muscle growth or healing, anti-aging benefits, immune support, and improved mental clarity. Athletes often use peptides for enhanced recovery and performance, while others turn to them for better sleep, skin rejuvenation, and hormonal balance.

Each treatment plan is highly personalized, with peptides selected based on your unique health needs and goals and if medication is indicated the Doctor will prescribe the medication and send your script to a local specialized compounding pharmacy.

Peptide therapy is minimally invasive, typically administered through injections, oral capsules, or topical creams, and it works in harmony with your body’s natural processes to improve overall wellness and vitality.

How Peptides Work

Peptide therapy uses a synthetic version of a naturally occurring chain of amino acids that act as signaling molecules that bind to specific receptors on cells, triggering biological responses that regulate functions like hormone production, metabolism, immune support, and tissue repair.
